Pi Sigma Chi Fraternity

As of today, Pi Sigma Chi's website has launched a mobile version (best viewed in landcape mode on the iPhone). We have continuously been seeking new and creative ways to connect our brothers and make the site as user friendly as possible. With Joomla as our web engine and the many open source developers creating components we are able to do what seemed impossible in a very short time. Check back frequently for more exciting updates. Update: We temporarily took down the mobile site due to conflicts with the developer's plugins.

Twitter is the new buzz around the internet, granted it’s been around for a while, but it has become great marketing tool and central location for users to find out more about what you (or your organization is doing). Follow us @pisigmachi on twitter where you can find out about new website updates and tools, public and social events, and new blog posts. Hopefully we can diversify ourselves in the web 2.0 scene and have unified ground to provide information and updates. Check back, the site is always growing and expanding! Happy Tweeting!

At Pi Sigma Chi, we have finally come upon the current internet technology of the 'social collaborative websites' that are popping up around the net. Except for the fact that our collaborative network is not open to the public. We are looking to provide our guests with as much information about our organization and its events as possible, while providing our members with an network to share and interact. As of this week we added a new feature to the site which will streamline the future of our business side. We implemented a payment gateway which (through Google Checkout and PayPal) can proccess credit card payments. As of today we can accept active membership dues, contributions, and donations. However, the payment system has only been setup to proccess active membership dues at this time; we can theoretically establish a campaign to donate money to Red Cross or other non-profit organizations. This can shed light on a new path for our fraternity, we are looking forward to the possiblities (and your suggestions).
